HAPPY NEW YEAR
A humble beginning, about 20 years ago, has now seen hundreads of helpless poor and needy getting life saving help, financial assistance to find lively hood or in many cases much needed help for their urgent and life saving medical needs.
No one would have predicted about 20 years ago when few like minded people started to collect old but usable clothes to send to places in India, that this organisation would grow and last this far to serve the needy in many countries. Intentions were clear, help came from many individuals and organisations. Thus we are entering into our 20th year of Service. |

OZINDCARE committee for the year 2015
Ozindcare Annual General Meeting was conducted on Sunday November 16th 2014.
Newly elected Committee members are- Prakash Palakkil (President), Leslie Bonney (Vice President), Sindhu Unnirajan (Secretary), Manjula ( Joint Secretary), Ansaji Russel ( Treasurer). Beena Viswanath will continue to work as Public Officer
The board members are- Anil Pattarath, Sudhir David, Unirajan, Viswanath, Deepak Kumar, Praseetha Prabhakar, Beena David, Deepak Koomully and Lithika Vinod. Narayana Prasad has pledged his support to help us with our website and Binu Varghese will continue working through electronic media. |

We are happy to announce that last year was one of the best years for Ozindcare in terms of collecting funds and helping the helpless. We have collected and disbursed more than $18000 in 2014.
Currently we are helping three students to complete their professional studies, two of them being medical students. We are also able to provide work implements to few so that they can earn a decent amount by working. Some of our beneficiaries received financial help for their medical needs.
What difference it makes is that If Ozindcare was not providing help for them, their life will have more struggle than there is. Hope we will be able to continue to help more in the coming years. |

Youth committee for Ozindcare
As we have announced before, a youth committee will be formed and announced during our next program on 9th May 2015. We are overjoyed that many young people have come forward to show their support and interest to join Ozindcare youth committee to enhance and expand our service of helping the helpless.
The current committee is with the view that it is time we form such a group not only for the benefit of our organisation but it also help our next generation youth from our own background and culture to work and gain experience in such humanitarian activities. Ozindcare gives a good opportunity for our youth members to have their own ideas without moving away from our set motto of “helping the helpless”. We invite those who have completed their HSC and have interest to work as a volunteer for a charity organisation by being a part of a young Ozindcare committee to come forward and talk to us. A meeting will be held to formalise the action plan soon. Enhance your curriculum by being part of a great working team for Charity. It costs you nothing!
