Ozindcare join hands with Wentyboyz

It was yet another successful event when Ozindcare arranged a food stall during the recent foot ball tournament conducted by Wentyboyz in Blacktown. It was a full day event and our volunteers prepared delicious homemade food items which were liked by all. Ozindcare raised more than $1000 through this event. More of such activities are planned in the coming year.

We thank Wenty boyz for providing us with this opportunity. If any other organisations in Sydney would like us to conduct such activities purely for the purpose of charity to help the helpless please contact Ozindcare. Your enjoyment will bring real happiness and smile on the face of the poor and needy in other part of the world.

Noble Deeds by Ozindcare

by K Raman

The practice of being benevolent is the root concept of charity. Showering of unlimited love and kindness to less fortunate fellow beings makes the charitable deeds a noble act. When two such charitable institutions upholding this ideal of give and take act, decide to pool their efforts it becomes all the more significant charitably.

Ozindcare is a long standing charity institution of repute who strives to help needy with money raised by organising cultural shows and catering food during those functions. Their resources are limited and membership is small, which makes the task of raising money very hard. Still they managed to give to charity $200,000 so far. So far no genuine request for help was turned down, and that speaks volumes of the honest, laborious and persistent volunteering work put into by a small bunch of hard working members to achieve their objective. Things would be much more easy and effective if members of our large community pitch in by becoming a member of Ozindcare and take part in the activities organised by them. Anyway by God’s grace the activities of this noble organisation glides along with its own sweet will. That is what Ozindcare is all about.

On 25.10.14 this charity giver lends a helping hand to another noble institution called North West Disability Services (NWDS), 15 A, Conie Av. Baulkham Hills. A musical show and food sale raised $1500 which was handed over to the NWDS, towards a worthwhile cause of ‘Hope for homes’ project. NWDS is thriving for 30 years looking after service users who are handicapped mentally physically or otherwise disabled with inability to speak, hear or comprehend things in its reality. For these people to live an independent life accommodation facilities in the past were provided by the Government. That provider ADHAC is going to be closed down soon whereby leaving the helpless disabled people in the lurch.

Hope for home project intends to raise the bulk of the funds to invest in properties and accommodate the service users of NWDS that meet the user’s basic needs. With the help from the family members, charity institutions like Ozindcare and charitable public the project may become a reality, with God’s blessing.
